With your support we can give former racehorses a safe and secure future – "A Life Past the Post”.

Donations are the single most important source of income for New Beginnings. We work hard by attending more than 20 racecourses per year where we take Mac (Mister McGoldrick) and Louis (Itsmyboy), who stand all day and lets the racing public get up close and stroke a former racehorse, or we take a few of our horses that have successfully re-retrained and often ridden by their new loaners to parade and show the true versatility of these magnificent horses.

You may well have seen us standing at the exit with buckets to collect from the race goers as they leave. The majority of our income comes through donations from the public. Raising funds is a constant challenge, so your help is very much appreciated.

For just a small monthly donation you can help make a huge difference to the horses in our care. The regular donations we receive from our friends and committed givers helps us enormously to plan financially throughout the year.

£5 will buy a bale of bedding
£10 will buy a bag of feed
£20 will help to pay for a trim from the farrier
£35 will pay for an annual inoculation against equine influenza and tetanus.
£40 will buy a bale of haylage

As a thank you we invite our family of committed givers to an annual event (usually in September) at New Beginnings where you can see first hand how valuable your donations are to the care of our horses, the running of our yard and our future development. You will have the opportunity to meet the team, view the yard, facilities and meet some of racing's former legends.
